About the Aesthetic Practitioner: Denise (Dee) Harley

Denise has been actively involved in the para-medical skin care industry, working with the pioneers of micro-derm-abrasion and cosmeceuticals in South Africa. Denise has extensive and varied experience in the skin care industry; leaving her with a diverse and integrated knowledge in this field. She has worked with and is certified in and trained (theoretically and practically) by respected leaders in skin care such as Dr N Perricone, Dermalogica, Skin Nutrition, Professional Systems, Spa Professionals and NeoStrata medical peels. Her strengths and experience are in anti-aging cosmeceutical products.

In conjunction with the Neo-Strata peels, Dee Harley, our Aesthetician, will analyse your skin and recommend topical dermaceuticals and nutraceutical products for your specific need in order to synergistically treat your skin from the inside and the outside.

Peel Procedure

Client should come with a clean skin (no makeup).

If recommended, a Booster Peel Pad will be applied to the skin and left on for 1 – 2 minutes. The peel solution will then be applied onto the skin and left on for 2 – 5 minutes. Patient will experience a slight stinging/burning sensation. The peel solution is then neutralized by spraying neutralizer over the entire peeled area. Cool water will then also be applied to the treated skin. A NeoStrata cream/lotion is then applied to the peeled area. Delay application of makeup for 24 hours.

Healing time: 4 – 6 days.

Preparation of the skin pre-procedure and post-procedure care and maintenance will be discussed upon booking.
